lazy hikes with the best friend

Today Madeline and I went to top of the world in Laguna and hiked around. The flowers were blooming and everything was so green. I can feel spring coming on and I'm very excited- mostly because after spring means summer. Haha.

My weekends are some people's vacations. I am so blessed.

After we got Banzai (as perusual) and then we went to Tablerock. It was empty and so peaceful. What a perfect day.

Lovely evening in Laguna

David, Taylor, and I went to Laguna for the evening. My favorite kind of nights are the unplanned, crazy ones- the ones where a million and one little things happen that come up later in future conversations. These are the experiences and times that I value the most.

We had The Lounge for dinner and ate it by the beach.

We visited our friends in the gelato shop and a very lovely surprise walked in.

 It was such a clear night and the views were simply breathtaking.

Then we went to top of the world and star gazed. 

I am so blessed to be young and to live where I do. I live a beautiful life and I must never forget that.

What's winter?

 Today Madeline and I went on a hike in Laguna with our coaches. The four of us get along beautifully so the entire hike was filled with laughs and good stories. The hike was breathtaking, but then again so is Laguna as a whole.

I love having people in my life that are separate from school.

It's nice having people who believe in your abilities and push you to do your best. These are those kinds of people.

And of course, I brought my Penny Board.

  Today I went to my favorite place ever, Laguna Beach. My best friend, Taylor, and and I met up with our old Editor-In-Chief. We ate sandwiches at The Pizza Lounge (BEST SANDWICH SHOP IN LAGUNA) and just talked. The weather was an impressive 72 degrees in January. Forever in love with Southern California.
